In the period from 16.02. to 17.03.2018, the project space AKKU will become a place of ectoplastic experimentation. The artists Lisa Biedlingmaier, Nathalie Koger, Wolfgang Obermair and Michl Schmidt, who are based between Stuttgart and Vienna, will attempt to define the term ectoplastic and its possible manifestations in the field of tension between materialism and spiritualism. From a sculptural point of view, both the accidental appearance and the intentional appearance, the manifestation of substance and its aesthetic presence as a medium are of central interest. The formation of forms, their constellation in their respective environment, as well as their relationships to each other will be the subject of visual experimentation, in which old and new techniques and strategies will be used and tested. Object, installation and performance will serve as tools of corresponding investigations.
