October 22–November 06, 2022, Victoria Vinogradova: Fischmarkt

This is the only work I feel like showing now. Started before the war in Ukraine with thoughts of the strangeness of love relationships, finished and fixed when the level of hatred is off the charts and the number of crimes and deaths has become unfathomable.

Victoria Vinogradova born in 1987 in Russia, lives and works in Vienna. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (2018) and also holds MA in Art History and Textile Restoration (2010). She is currently working with coloured pencils on paper and blends personal experience with both art history perspective and observation of socio-political processes.
Selected exhibitions:
I am all of glass. Industriemuseum Chemnitz, GER (2019), Zureta. Chinretsukan Gallery, Tokyo, JP (2017), Encounters. Galleria Doris Ghetta, Ortisei, IT (2016), Paper-thin. Haargenau. MUSA, Startgalerie, Vienna, AU (2015), The Future of Painting. Essl Museum, Klosterneuburg, AU (2014).
